RAI international channel is a public Italian channel which broadcasts and operates in more than 100 countries around the world. The programming of RAI international channel is a mix of news, discussion programs, sports coverage, documentaries, dramas and 4-6 live soccer games of the Italian League "Serie A" or called Calcio Italiano.

The audience of RAI International are foreign and citizens Italian around the world. A big part of RAI's audience are people who want learn the Italian culture and and think that listening the origin language can get the fastest goal.

Since 1995, the government participated giving donation and helping the channel developing and managing a part of the programs.
