The most succesfuly programs are related o cinema, documentary, series and special shows. The channel is on air commercial free and the management is updating new movies monthly. The german Kino channel programming is divided in Classi, Theater and top rated Television.

Since 2010, the official channel was added to the Canadian network, increasing their customers in a big part being sponsored by the Ethnic channel Group
