E! Entertainment channel was launched by MovieTime ( a company directed by Namer, B. Owens, R. Portin, M. Sobel, B. Zaccheo and M. Hale ) in 1987 like a satellite broadcast network and cable television. At the beginning E! Entertainment television channel provided news, events, awards coverage and all kinds of reviews related to entertainment topics.

Three years later Movietime added to the headquarters more personal and was renamed to E! Entertainment. This new change emphasized in programs related to films, television, music, fashion and Hollywood gossip. Warner brothers, HBO and three more companies controlled the ownership of E! Entertainment.
