CMT launched in 1996 by Corus entertainment and Viacom. CMT channel is related to music programs and family programs. Most of the programs are shows, concerts, live interviews and more.

Country Music Television had launched at first like a radio station in th beginning of 1984. After a large period of discussions and negotiations, the channel was on-air in 1995.

The channel glad to have those presenters; Paul McGuire, Casey Clarke, Cliff Dumas, Nicola Jones, Elissa Landsbell, Shannon Gaye and more. The headquarters are located in Toronto, and the channel is available by satellite in Bell VT and Shaw Direct. Also by Cable and IPTV
