Channel 3 was launched in 22 September 1955 like public service network of British commercial in the Britain for free. The satellites are transmited by Sky Digital, Freesat and Astra 2D. Channel 3 contains 19.1% audience share of ITv.

ITV was set up under the Independent Television Authority to give competition to the BBC, in this moment the biggest broadcast. ITV is one of the oldest commercial tv network in United Kingdom. In1990, was rebranded to Channel 3 and started to be a part of the broadcasts in all world.
