BBC 2 Two until 1997 is the second biggest terrestrial television BBC’s channel aimed at a wide range of subject matter of the audience and interests of al kinds of people, and specializing in smart yet popular programmed genres for all ages.

Like the BBC's other regular radio networks & Television, it is commercial free and remains a well funded public service company network, regularly complaining a much higher civilians share than most current public service networks entire worldwide.

It was launched in 1964 like the second channel of BBC called BBC Two, and Europe's first tv channel to broadcast 100% in color, not like BBC 1 earlier.
